Net a Fish Wiki

Net a Fish! is a Roblox fishing sim where every cast rolls a rarity, your showcase pool pays every second, and rebirth trades progress for permanent power. Start by redeeming the published codes, then put your best fish in the showcase before you buy anything else.

Core loop

The loop in four moves

Every system in the game hangs off these four steps. The tutorial walks you through them in a few minutes.

  1. Throw and reel

Cast the net into open water, reel it in, and the fish land in the cooler.

    First-hour steps
  2. Sell or keep

Sell commons, keep duplicates: ten of one fish become a Shiny.

  3. Fill the showcase

Placed fish pay cash every second, including while you are offline.

    Money route
  4. Upgrade, then rebirth

Net first, then the showcase, then helpers. Rebirth when the next tier costs more than a session earns.

The tutorial ended and I am lost

You finished the first rebirth and nothing points at a goal.

Showcase before helpers
A fish in the pool earns while you shop; a helper does not.

Collection is the goal
The long game is rarity hunting and fusing up tiers, not story or PvP.

Walkthrough

Your first session, in order

Do these in sequence and the first hour ends with a working showcase instead of a pile of commons.

Full first-hour guide
  1. Finish the tutorial without spending

Cast, tag a fish into the cooler, take the net upgrade. The game decides the order for you.

  2. Redeem the codes

Seven codes are published in the description; two cash codes took a player past the first several upgrade tiers in one session.

  3. Put your best fish in the showcase

The pool pays per second per fish. One good fish beats three weak ones early.

  4. Buy the net tier, then the helper

Helpers inherit your net and luck, so they pay best after those are upgraded.
